    Hey,

I have a quick question on Fetac. I am looking into doing a child psychology through distance learning and the qualification given is a fetac level 5.

What does this mean? I have tried to look on the website but cant find anything on it

Here's a link to the FETAC framework.

It shows all the FETAC/HETAC awards relative to each other. So a level 5 FETAC award is on a par with the Leaving Certificate.

Doesn't sound like it is worth a lot, tbh.

Tom thanks a million for that. Its really useful!

Not worth it at all, they are looking for 595 for the course....

Could it be used as a stepping stone onto a degree programme say as a mature student? It depends on want you want to go on to as a career and it may be useful to some.
