Given the chill winds blowing through the retail sector I would advise anyone holding vouchers for shops to use them as quickly as possible. I saw on BBC's watchdog programme the other night the difficulties people with Zaavi vouchers that were only bought at Christmas are having, basically they won't accept vouchers now (apart from some bought prior to December) and are regarding the holders of these vouchers as unsecured creditors so they're basically worthless.
If you have them, spend them.

oops sorry had a quick look and didn't see anything. the reason i mentioned it i was in a well known shop in dublin yesterday and heard the counter assistant stating that they weren't taking any orders for items which set alarm bells ringing as that shop would i presume have sold a lot of vouchers at christmas.
