The new tolls will be as follows

Toll on the M6 Galway road at Ballinasloe.
Toll where the Limerick and Cork roads diverge on the M7.
    Toll on the Limerick Tunnel.
Two tolls on the M3, one before Navan, one after Navan.
No tolls on the M9 motorway to Waterford

The existing tolls on these roads are:
    M8 Fermoy Bypass
M4 toll between Kilcock and Kilbeggan

The OP asked for which roads are going to be tolld, but you just had to get your dig at the M9, and yet completly ignored the Waterford City Bypass which will be tolled

The toll on the M6 will be near Attymon, the bypass of Balinasloe will be free.

There will also be a toll on the limerick tunnel and the M7 so limerick pays 2 tolls (im not from limerick)

Only if you're bypassing Limerick heading to/from Shannon and Ennis.

The Cork-Dublin and Galway-Dublin routes will both have two tolls.

There will be a total of seven motorway/dual-carriageway tolls in the state (M1, M4, M6, M7, M8, Limerick Tunnel, and M50) plus the Eastlink toll in Dublin.

There'll be 8, there're 2 tolls on the M50, one at the port and one barrier free between N3 and N4

Yeah, forgot about that one. In fairness though, trucks don't have to pay it and the rationale behind charging cars to use the Dublin Port Tunnel is a sound one.

    Absolutely sure of this?

I think that once you pass the exit for East Ballinasloe when Westbound, you are stuck paying a toll for rest of way to Galway

    (I think)

If your right, and i hope you are, then happy days. Free all the way to Galway avoiding the only notorious bottleneck.

Your all forgetting the toll on the new N25 Waterford bypass.

at least there will be no toll on the N11. Would this be the only primary route coming out of Dublin not to have a toll? apart from the N2 of course

AFAIK there is no toll on the M7 from Dublin to Limerick. Just on the Limerick bypass.

The toll for the M6 will be at Cappataggle. Look that up if you want. I dont know what slip roads, if any, will be tolled.

You can always bypass the Waterford N25 by going over the old bridge... which I fear a large percentage of the population will be (like myself) so looks like there will still be a s*** load of traffic in the mornings... Way to go Ireland... doing a smack up job of fixing the infastructure by tolling so people do use it!

There will be a toll near Portlaoise.

Nearly all major HQDC/motorway schemes will be tolled it looks like. The M9, M11 and M18 (and I suppose the soon-to-be M2 if you want to count that as well) are the only major high-quality routes not being tolled in some shape or form. It is presumed the M20 will be tolled.

Oh yeah of course :D Was thinking about rumours of one near Nenagh that thankfully, seem to have been swept under the rug.

Can someone list all the current and proposed tolls?
I think I've seen somewhere that toll on M4 is 2.5Euro. Is it correct?
If yes, it is actually quite cheap. We have higher tolls here in our poor Poland not even mentioning Italy or France where tolls are ludicrous

Tolls in Ireland are quite cheap. You shouldn't complain.
    Lets see:
Dublin to Belfast €1.90 (Drogheda bypass)
    Dublin to Galway €4.50 (M4 €2.90 + M6 €1.60)
    Dublin to Cork €3.50 (Fermoy bybass €1.90 + M7/M8 PPP €1.90)
    Dublin to Limerick €4.80 ?? ( M7/M8 PPP €1.90 + Nenagh -Limerick PPP €2.90?)
I couldn't find any projections of Nenagh – Limerick toll. But it shouldn't be more than toll on M4 so it is probably maximum estimation, it can be lower in reality.
    Dublin to Kells €2.10 (M3)
    Apart from that you have:
M50 barrier free toll €2.00 -3.00 (depends from the way you pay)
    M25 Waterford bypass €1.40
    Limerick Southern Ring €1.60

Even it these tolls are now a bit higher due to inflation (I got prices from NRA website, don't know how well it is updated) it is still quite reasonable. Compare it to tolls in France or Italy. Prices are similar to tolls in much poorer Poland.

There won't be a toll from Limerick to Nenagh - just one toll on the M7 to Limerick.

Correct me if im wrong but...

Isnt road tax cheaper in France? So they make up the costs on tolls?
