I am open to correction on this being a bargain but if you are in the maket for a 40/42" LCD and home theatre (like me) then it might well be.

Saw this in the Dundrum SC Sony Center. One or other of the above LCDs and the RHT-G500 - 'Home theatre in a stand' for €999. Has to be ordered and they would have them at the end of the month.

Is this a good deal cause it seems OK to me unless I am missing something. I realise the LCD won't have MPEG 4 and the sound on the stand is 3.1 but otherwise I'd be interested to hear opinions.

Did you have to go to Belfast or do they ship to Ireland?

Yeah it was in their sale. Go to their web sire www.richersounds.co.uk and see the prices. Then go to their forum and ask them about shipping a particular item http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1105 and they might be able to ship it. I know they have a limit to what they can ship. Also they can hold an item often if its not in a sale so you dont have a wasted trip.
