Hi - stayed there for a week last April/May with family. Thought it was a great place. Got fab weather. Rented apt privately through one of the web sites - PM me and I can send you on details.

We really did get a great 3 bed apt. Lots of space, garden, pool 10 steps away from lockable garden gate, everything included. And for a great price. 10 mins walk away from the centre of things. I'd go back in a heartbeat - if only I could get cheap flights when kids off school.

The area was great - the square area at night time was the best. Especially for kids. One of the local bar owners would throw candy up and down the street about 8pm every evening. We sat and watched as our kids raced up and down the streets with all the others after the sweets. I have never seen them so hell bent on a task.

Some places were not so good to eat out nearby the sea front. While it looked nice, it was not so good food-wise. And we had one or 2 very rude moments so we just walked away. Plenty of choice though.

I have to recomend King Citric on one of the corners of the square, we ate there almost every evening - not something we would usually do. But Tony (the owner) was so hospitable to us and so good to the kids, that we just kept going back. Food was great too, different menu every evening.

We only managed to break the €100 limit only one evening on dinner. And that was for 4 adults + 2 kids on a splash-out evening - incl starters, mains, wine, cafe cognacs, beers, dessert, etc. Great night. And then Tony brought out the cava ...!

    You will enjoy it
