Shaving mirror for the shower?

Does anyone know where I'd get a shaving mirror to mount in the shower, and more importantly, are they useable? I'm deadly slow in the mornings so washing and shaving in the same place could save a bit of time (and give a nicer shave).

I've seen ones on the interweb that have water channels to prevent fogging, but maybe there are coated versions that do the same thing.

You can get a tub of stuff that prevents mirrors or glass fogging up. Not sure if it would stand up to being inside the shower though.

I've shaved in the shower with no mirror - just feel your way round. A quick check in the mirror afterwards to make sure you haven't missed anywhere.

But what if you make a complete cock-up of it!?
I need a mirror, just in case...

Then you just think of Psycho as you watch your blood pour down the drain.

If you're careful enough the worst that can happen is you miss some.

Given my limited motor skills in the morning, I'd definitely need a mirror!

Surely someone has used these mirrors before?!

Nice selection here but no idea if they'll ship mirrors to Ireland

I'm sure they would ship to here, they're UK based. Their prices are very expensive though.

I've heard you should spray a little shaving foam on a normal mirror, rub it off and rinse it, and it leaves a film on the mirror that stops condensation forming.

    Haven't tried this in practice.

Have you tried shaving in the shower ? Just wash faster and shave faster, combining the two could lead to disaster

I got one in the pharmacy before. It has suction cups on the back to stick onto the tile, and a little light as well. Must put it back up now that I'm back to the wet shaves....

This actually works. Had some on my hand by mistake when I was wiping the condensation off. Since then it doesnt fully fog up. It isn't vivdly clear but clear enough for you to shave in.

Same kinda thing if you have liquid soap, put a tiny bit on a tissue, and rub the mirror with it. Instant anti fog.

If you use too much though, you'll end up with a soapy mirror...

If you shave in the shower then you won't even need shaving cream as your beard will be really soft anyway. I just bring a small mirror in with me and rinse it when it fogs up.

i put a low voltage heat mat inside the shower tiles pre tiling right behind where the mirror is.
dunno if it's legal,it's watertight and works a dream

I with that dude...just bring in a hand held mirror- a nice dinky wee thing- and rinse it in the water-jet every 30 seconds or so; works perfect for me!
