    Hi folks,

My Buddhist parents-in-law will be arriving in Dublin in March and expressed much interest in attending a Catholic mass. They have never been to this part of the world before nor have they ever attended a Christian ceremony.

We would like to take them to one of the better ceremonies in Dublin. I.e. preferably a nice interesting church with good atmosphere, choir and all the usual stuff which I’m sure they will find fascinating.

Any recommendations for a Sunday morning??

    Thanks :)

I'd recommend Christchurch at eleven on Sunday morning, details here. It's protestant and not catholic, but there aren't many differences.

Why not go the whole hog and take them to the Traditional Latin Mass at 10.30am in St Kevin's, Harrington Street? ;)

Especially if its a week where the Lassus Scholars are singing.

Fr Alton Crosby. I'm a big fan. He gives good mass. The way he works the altar. The chalice work, effortless!!

I know you're quoting Father Ted, but I'm curious as to whether you're referring to a real priest...
