Are underage players allowed to take part in the survey aswell or is it just for seinor players?

doesnt matter who you are, just put strongly disagree to every one apart from 5 m behind scrums rule. :D

(this should be made a sticky. If the fans dont give their opinions then nothing can be done about it)

Majority of the ELV's are pretty good!

Only bad'uns are the maul variations. Purely from a safety perspective.

I found myself agreeing with most of them. Only 1 I disagreed with is the receiver in the lineout and i said the guy in the hooker channel had made no real difference

I personally don't think the maul is any more dangerous because people know it's going to happen

The maul must be brought back in all its un-pulldownable glory. And I know its not an ELV but rucking needs to be looked at, players must be able to clean out bell-ends lying over a ball without fear of sanction.

I agree. I also agree that the new breakdown laws are an absolute shambles. You've got teams terrified to play rugby incase an eager referee pings them for going off their feet. The result is a kicking contest for large parts of the game. We don't need the majority of these new laws because, simply put, the game was a much better spectacle before them.

The only ones I strongly disagreed with were the passing the ball back into the 22 - out on the full rule and the bringing down the maul rule. It was about 50/50 disagreed/agreed with the rest of them.

They should remove most of the rules.. i mean be allowed to legally bring down the maul is retarded and dangerous... next thing you know they will want to get rid of the scrum.. sure why not lose the forwards altogether and just play league?. I mean basically if you have a team where the backs are averege but the pack is unreal your f*cked, because you cant use the pack the way you used to. At the end of the day the game of rugby wasnt broken so why bother fixing it.??

Why no mention of the ELVs that we haven't tried in the north? IMO, the northern game is being stifled because we are awarding penalties rather than free kicks for relatively trivial offenses.

I think bringing in the short-arms could change the game too much. Punters can get away with all sorts at ruck time if these were brought.

The only one I disagreed with was the passing back in the 22 rule.
