Just wondering if there's any tips people could share regarding this. I have lots of parcels(packages? – what's the difference?) to send. If I'm sending by standard post, is there any ways to reduce the price? I thinking does weighing them myself and using stamps Vs getting it done at the post office.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

you pay the same in post office as if you put stamps on yourself

the main thing to remember is that the price of postage jumps up after 2kg, especially to the uk

so lets say you had a 3kg package going to the uk, split it into 2 1.5kg packages if possible, and you'll save money
