    I wish to buy a second hand car in Germany to use in France

    Can anyone assist me with the procedures I will have to go through for this?

    -What do I do in Germany once I have bought the car? I.E. Sending off log book etc?

    -How do I then register the car in France? Is this a lot of hassle meaning it would be much easier to buy a French registered car? Or can I get insured in France for a few months on German plates? It will only be a run about car for a short time

    -Insurance? Anyone suggest the cheapest insurance companies in France, young male driver, third party only

    -Is there any road tax in France?

    -Any other extras or tips I should know about? NCT etc?
