    I am not entirely sure if this goes in this forum but here goes.

    I am one of the few people with a Sony Walkman and therefore use Sonicstage software to convert Wavs or MP3s to Atrac so my Walkman can play them.

    I heard sony have given up the ghost on Atrac, does anyone know if there is a way to convert my atrac to mp3 on future Sony software?

    Check out their w/site..


    They had an app. for MD's that I use - It's a .wav converter tool.


    Your own recordings on MD were .oma or .omg files & this yoke let you convert them to .wav. The drawback was that it was only your own recordings. Its about time they ditched all those mental formats. They are / were such a puzzle sometimes. Far too restrictive.

    Maybe they might have a similar tool for yourself - at the very least you could get some news or Email their support.
