Hey all i have a 94 Honda civic hatchback and i've found a lot of rust appearing on the wheel arches, doors and even a few small spots on the roof! :( Just wondering if it'd be worth my while buying a car for the 2000euro i have saved or would that cover the cost of repairs to the car? I'm assuming the car will need to be done completely due to the amount of rust.

    Thanks in advance.

2k cash should get you a half decent car for your money. Sell the Civic for a few hundred then. Don't spend 2k on something that won't be worth it, unless of course you want to keep the civic.

Half a day with some grinding material, some Hammerite Kurust and similar paint to the original will contain the rust for another while ...it just won't look pretty (but cost next to nothing)
