    Hiring? Most companies will insist that you are either over 21 or have held a drivers licence for a certain number of years.



    Edit : I want to be 19 again and driving through Europe....

    There shouldn't be an issue.

    Look at each country you are driving through and make sure you are compliant / familier with their rules.

    France for example require you to carry spare bulbs/high viz vest etc .

    Usual advise , Don't speed, Don't Drink drive etc , and be very very careful not to get too tired.

    The reason I emphasise the tired bit is you will ' revert to type ' ( drive on auto pilot ) when tired , and guess what , they drive on the other side of the road there !

    Enjoy the trip , when I was your age I drove a lot in France/germany and really enjoyed it.
