For Sale: Maruzen Type 96 Sniper Rifle.

I’m selling my olive drab Maruzen Type 96 sniper rifle which I bought 3 months ago (€399.99 new) during a fit of Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS) from airsofteire . The rifle has never been skirmished and has had about 4 mags of BBs shot through it.

Sale also includes the Maruzen ball joint bi-pod specifically designed for this model (€89.00 new), a Bushnell 3-9 x 40 scope with 2 high profile scope mounts (€80 new) and everything is stored in a Guarder 130cm rifle bag (€39.99 new) also included. Everything is in absolutely mint condition.

I’m looking for €420 for everything and will not be selling any of the accessories separately. Ideally I’m looking for a Dublin/Leinster buyer. Payment by cash, cheque, draft, or postal order.

Not really interested in a trade. Have just upgraded my TM M4 S System and bought a TM Glock and probably paid my car tax first...

That said I'd be interested to hear if you have any SMG AEGs or GBB SMG or pistols.

Lowest I could possibly go on the Type 96 is €350 cash or perhaps € and trade.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.

Bsquadron, not sure the sniper lark is for me. I feel that as you can't upgrade over 1 joule the advantages of having a sniper rifle in Ireland (range... power... = fear...:cool: ) are completely minimised versus a good AEG as they can blast at you at similar max ranges. That said I've only shot it a few times in my back garden and the bolt system is very satisfying. The setup is very sensitive so takes loads of time to set it up just right and I've found the rifle's accuracy is no better than my upgraded S-System (accuracy barrel/spring/hopup etc.) I'd say with the PDI hopup this would be an amazing rifle. Before buying it I google around and found amazing upgrades done to the rifle where guys were getting unreal accuracy at up 90m (way over 1 joule springs though...

That said the Type 96 is a great platform (if not the best) for upgrading a airsoft rifle and looks and feels the dogs bewlix.

Bsquadron and Gerrowdat the best price I'll go for is €320 for the lot.

Sorry Faddius, ive located a recession suiting Well L96. Im gonna go with that as its a bit lighter on the pocket and I think your rifle would suit someone serious about sniping. Im only getting into it at the mo. Thanks, and best of luck with the sale!

Not sure how to get down to you in Limerick. I could meet you at Limerick Junction (i'll take the train down and back on Saturday morning) if you agree to adding €30 delivery fee for the rifle (1/2 cost of my train and bus fare for me to get there).
