Thinking about getting a PS Eye but I seen Xtravision have a PS2 for €5. Googled and got a load of conflicting stories. Would be mainly for gaming or chat. Has anyone tried it with the PS3

A friend have the pseye. It comes with eyecreate (A video/photo editor for stuff you make with the cam) look in the game add-ons thing in the store.

Dont think too many games let use a camera photo to make a cameo in the game. You can create custom stickers in LBP using the pseye OR eyetoy. And both can be used as microphones for online gaming

its fun at the start, nice little gimmick. but after a while gets boring, u can try online but u'll need a really good deck to beat anyone.

also u need to buy dlc to allow u to use ceetain cards packs too

I used the PS2 eye for a few months and had no problems at all with it, a lot of people don't realise there is even a microphone built in. Got the PS3 eye over the Christmas and not that much of a difference, though it is better quality in a dimly lit room.

I find it great craic with Burnout: Paradise and Buzz
