Strange request for wedding invites

Hi Folks,

We have a strange request for people if anyone can help me.
We are getting married in August and our names are Anne and Barry.
I know everyone must remember the Ann and Barry books from your school days but does anyone still have any lying around. We are hoping to scan in one or two of the pictures and edit them for our invitations?

There are some previous threads on boards about these books here and here in case you dont know what im on about.

Any help from anyone would be much appreciated.

While you were scouring the net did you come across this blog?

It has a few images from one of the ann and barry books including one of the covers, which might be helpful when looking for a hardcopy.

I see its on the second page of google now. I was looking in the middle of last year and never bothered to post. I should have looked again before I did.

I like where you are coming from, now if I was you I would do Anne and Barry with a difference, I would get someone artsy to draw Anne and Barry going to the Chruch and do a booklet like an Anne & Barry book.

I'd be able to do it ok but I reckon you should get someone really good, all they would need is the pic above of Anne and Barry, your invite would have front page like the book, Anne & Barry go to Church, maybe just 4 pages but each one with Anne & Barry and details of wedding, one may be Anne Looking at the calender open with the date the other may be Barry outside the reception venue and so on,
