How is overtime calculated in your work place ?

    1) Daily, if you work more than 8 hours everything after this is over time.

    2) Daily, but at a certain time, all work beyond 18.00 is overtime

    3) Or weeks, if you work more 37.5 hours a week this is your overtime.

    Thanks

Are you confusing premium payments with overtime? Many of us would be rostered to begin before 9am and work after 6pm but as it's part of out shift, there is no overtime payments.

I get overtime if I'm required (and willing) to work on my day off. Time plus .5 time Monday to 12 noon Saturday.

Time plus time from 12 noon Saturday, Sunday (and Bank Holidays).

Unscheduled 'overtime' after the end of my shift is repaid at double time back.

    (39 hour week).

We work off timesheets in my place.

Overtime is done on a weekly basis.

39 hours is the standard week, and can be worked up on any of the 5 weekdays.

Travel time is at a normal time rate but doesn't count as any of your 39 hours.
Weekday overtime is time x1.5 after 39 hours.
Saturday is time x1.5 for the first 4 hours and time x2 after that.
    Sunday is time x2.
But if we don't have 39 hours worked up during the week, we'll lose however many weekend OT hours to make up the difference. Thankfully this rarely happens.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
