    Not sure you picked a good place to post this - should maybe ask the mods to move it to relevant area...

    Meanwhile.. Ya ask for a meeting with your boss and fill him in before the meeting.. ie dont just spring it on him. Make it look as though you wanted to give him a heads up so that he could have time to incorporate it into his plans (make it seem ur doing him a favour)...

    I would put in writing my intentions to resign, before the statutory limit required by employment law to inform the employer has been exceeded, and then also request that any outstanding holiday pay be paid in full.
