Why dont they attack each other? Is it the smell? Look?
How come they only used to eat brains but now have moved on to all parts?
Do they pooh/fart or just get endlessly fat?

Better get reading this my good man!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Zombie_Survival_Guide

Currently reading World War Z. Very very good book. There was a bit at the start whereby the account noticed that the infected was abloat (best word to describe it) with flesh. Was coming up it's throat, so guess that answers the last question!

excellent ill get right on it, thx.

Hold on a minute! Lives in the frontal lobe, and does not need any water or energy, self sufficient? Thats just nonsense, were talking about the advent of perpetual motion here. The law of relativity goes out the window.

No no no, if im going to plan for a zombie uprise, ill be doing it based on my universe where science can be calculated. This "Z" sounds like a throw in answer to stop all the hard questions. I personally prefer the view point as in the original DOTD where zombies can learn and start to form groups. Far more realistic, plus it means that the longer they are around the more dangerous they become, endless possibilities there. Using guns, planning attacks, maybe even mating with human women and having a hybrid child. Most modern main stream films do venture down that avenue.

Other wise we might as well say its a virus called bob and it makes you a super zombie that doesn't eat, sleep, drink, fart, that has missiles for fingers and a flaming arse-hole. And you cant kill them unless you kiss them 6 times in the left earlobe and dance around a fairy tree backward.

I think we should set out in realistic terms the actual outcome of a virus infect that could mimic zombie-ism(might not be an actual word). Using what we know in the real world about viruses and how the body and nature works, could this be possible. I personally think yes! be not that you would die and come back to life, but more that a virus would cause you to go insane and increase adrenalin, block pain sensors in the brain, increase aggression, trigger primal urges to feed/kill. Reduce you to a vicious animal with great strength and no pain.

Yes a bullet would kill you, but if it wasnt IN THE FACE!!! you unlike your human counterpart would basically act as if nothing happened, maybe you also have a better capacity to heal or thicker rib cage or skin or organs, immune to bacterial infection. I dont know really but i think you guys should set out a realistic charter of what real world zombification could be, and then look at tackling that. It could actually be far more possible than we think, rabies, ebola etc, combine those two and your not far off.
