    I order loads of stuff online so I guess I had to come across a problem eventually...

    Ordered a pair of police sunglasses from http://www.smartbuyglasses.co.uk/

    They go under several different names such as visiondirect.eu / .com.au

    Placed order on the 2nd Jan, card charged on the 5th Jan, and as of today the glasses had still not been dispatched. At this stage I was suspicious so I did a search and found this thread: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/874622.html

    Basically they seem to have a record of very slow deliveries and sunglasses being suspicious with regards authenticity.

    I've emailed them now to cancel the order and get a refund... The whole thing is just a headache and this site shouldn't be trusted. Hope this thread will stop someone else ordering from them!

    If anyone else has any experiences with this shop please share

    I bought a pair of Prada Prescription Sunglasses off these guys back in November.

    I received the Sunglasses 10 days after ordering them and was pretty happy especially considering that includes the time for them to do the prescriptions as well.

    I think they are a pretty big international company and I had excellent email communication with them. Did you get your refund from them? I checked with another company Londoneyewear about getting prescription sunglasses from them and they said it would take about 3 weeks so I think slow delivery times are a pretty standard part of this industry.

    Anyways i'm really happy with my new glasses and couldn't recommend these guys highly enough.
