Had a blast of the 60 player online. Good chaotic fun but I didn't gain any XP for it...what's the story there?

Dunno. There might be an icon beside the server name?

Or does R2 show all the available servers?

Ah but google is not enviornmently friendly according to the news. PLayed it online once or twice and gained xp. it wasn't with 60 online it was smaller rooms. Ill try it tonight if i get a chance and see what the story is?

you need to play ranked matches to gain xp.

in the competitive menu you can select play now or find a game.

find a game is unranked. the play now (or maybe it's just 'play') option is for ranked games. this is the one where you select game type and size or just select any and it searches and throws you into a game. all these ones will gain you xp.

Its a pity cause some of those games you get under "find a game" have a kill limit of 1,000 and you get very good long chaotic games

yeah i love that map with the 3 storey house. it's great fun. pity you can't select the map you want to get xp. it's very random and not as fun

Then who decides them? Can you not create a ranked game? I thought you could in R:FOM, but it takes ages for people to join IIRC.

ranked game - you can pick whether you want to play deathmatch, team dm, core control etc... then you can pick whether you want to play a large or small map. or you can pick 'any' for both. then you it search for a ranked game and play whatever you get. but you can't select a map.

the other option is find a game where you can enter lobbies. i'm not 100% sure whether you can set up a ranked game from in here as i've only ever joined games but i've never got any xp from these.

You do get xp from "find a game" i often just stack up on xp in noob games lol. 2.2mil competitive exp ftw

ah yes i was one of those noobs in a game with you the other day. i'm pretty sure of it!! Was my first game online with it......

Sorry! I just like finding the quickest xp and the easiest way is to prey on the lambs :P

Tried to go online for the first time today and it wouldnt connect. Tried the browser so the connection was fine. Is this because im Nat type 3? Im gona change it to Nat type 1 just havent gotten around to it yet.
