I haven't seen any mention on this forum of the article in todays Sunday Times.

It's not an attack on the BER ratings, but rather provides backup for the points being made on other threads here about the lack of consistency amongst BER Assessors & the lack of policing of the system.

The only good thing that comes out of it is that the three ratings are adjacent to each other, it could be that the top and bottom rating were "close to the (E1) line" when evaluated.

If there was clear space between them, then I'd be worried.
