Sky box interface question

Another recent post got me thinking about the interfaces on my Sky box.

What's with the arial in option ? Is it possible to tune in to anything over this ? I don't need to right now since I get RTE, etc . . . over Sky, but when the subscription runs out could I hook it up that way ?

Do the RF Out 1 and RF Out 2 just feed out the same channel/signal as the scart when using the box ?

On the Sky+, what do the USB interfaces allow for ? I don't suppose they allow recording to USB drives by any chance ? I know that on my cheapo Panasonic DVD recorder I can attach a USB drive and use it as an input for playing movies recorded to disk where the DVD player does the decoding/playing.

Finally, is there any way to record to DVD off one interface while viewing a different channel over another interface ? I tried DVD-recording some of my Sky+ stuff recently, but it looks like I can't do anything else with my box for the duration as I need to keep the program to be recorded on screen all the time while the DVD is recording. Given that I had about 4 hours of the Simpsons to do this was obviously a little limiting.

Aerial in allows you to pass in your other RF signals and combine with Sky so that if you are outputting to a distribution amp that all channels will be distributed and not just Sky on RF.

Yes RF 1 and 2 out feed out the same signal as scart. RF 2 can also be powered to allow the remote signal to be carried via the remote eye solution.

USB does nothing presently but is powered so you could charge something off it I guess. Was planned to be used for a portable device solution but never happened.

No you cant watch something else while using the Copy function. It simply plays the recording or a sereis of queued up recordings.
