How many private Schools are there???

I'm writing a sociology essay on secondary schools in Ireland and I'm looking for stats on the number of private schools and maybe how much they receive from the state. I've checked cso.ie and education.ie but neither offer any stats that distinguish between private/public. Anyone know where I might find stats on this? BTW…
