    Welcome to Airsoft.

A secondary gun is not a necessity. A lot of people will get a pistol but very few use them.

All you really need is your primary, a couple of mags, goggles/facemask, boots and BB's. The rest is a personal choice. The best thing to do is to get down to a site and see what others have.

As far as I know most sites have an over 14's policy(open to correction by site owners). You will have to get a parent/guardian to sign a waiver and then the fun begins.

If you look in this thread, http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055353671 , you will find more information.

If you check the site websites they will have more information on age limits.

    (1) not at all, but they're very fun.
    (2) most sites have parental consent forms on their websites, print and get your folks to sign and you're sucking diesel.

    welcome to the sport :)

Drogheda is meant to be good for snipers. I'm heading up there this Sunday with my Steyr SSG that I got for Christmas. It's a charity day on Sunday so try and make it if you can. As theres no better way to raise money then by shooting people all day. :D
