hi, i have a 360 but im sorely tempted to buy a ps3 for little big planet. The thing is, its the only game i am interested in. Is it worth it

Short answer: no

Not worth the price of a new console and game just for one game especially a game like little big planet which is very much a love it/hate it game. I've a 360 and a PS3, the PS3 never really gets played except every 3 months or so when a decent exlcusive gets released. Save your money until there is a price cut or there are a few better exclusives.

it's brilliant, my brother got it for xmas. multiplayer is so much fun.
i cant really pin it down, but its so enjoyable.

im tempted to get a ps3 and lbp too!

LBP is good, but it's not worth getting a PS3 just for it alone.

Unless you have money to burn ( or little as the PS3 is only E250 this weekend in zavvi!), its a great game, HUGE amount of fun, one of the first games that has not disappointed me in anyway in awhile.

But to spend so much money on a PS3 for 1 game is never worth it!

For me it's been the best game that's come out in the last 2 or 3 years at least.

Not worth buying a whole new console for, but then you'd have to be crazy to not go and enjoy at least some of the other great PS3 exclusives like Uncharted, MGS4, Gran Turismo, Ratchet & Clank, Folklore, Wipeout etc, so I say go for it.

Its a great single player game but its an outstanding 2-4 player and online game.
Playing with a friend is great fun and the chicks love this game too.

I made the mistake of buying a 360 for Fable 2, i love that game to bits, but i rarely use my 360

For free online, media streaming, the reasons listed above, uncharted, R&C, A decent controller for footie games, and a blu-ray player it is worth it.

I admit I still have LBP in its sealed package but thats only cos I had F3, MGS and PES to get through.

If you can see no other benefit to owning a PS3-then I guess the answer would be no.

Well No, its not worth it rarely any 1 game comes along that you would shell out for the console purely for that game in fact i cant think of any 1 game thats that good.

LBP is good and all but it was way too overhyped for me i found it quite childish, i know its a kids game ( kindof) but after hearing everyone going nuts for it i got it, it is good fun with a group but still it has sat on the shelf for quite a while now.

If you are only buying the PS3 for LBP, That is just.. Well dont do it man!
Buy it for the other exclusives aswell.. MGS,GT,R&C..

Also, Killzone2 is coming out next month, Sure to be a heck of a game xD

I thought it was terrible...bored silly after an hour of really trying to like it..
