They can be very hard to find.

Whatever you do, don't order them from Tokyohobby.net. I've been waiting 2.5 months so far for some Tokyo Marui 80rd mags, and I'm going to demand delivery or money back next week. Even my patience has limits.

TokyoHobby have websites under the names:
    • tokyotoydistribution.com
    • twwiiguns.com
    • specialforcesweapons.com
    • vietnamwar-guns.com
    • japanairsoftguns.com
    ...they're all the same company.

I did get the KingArms 110rd midcaps from eHobby Asia, they arrived quickly, and have been ok so far. They're not as good quality as the TM ones, so treat them nicely.

Tip: First thing to do is to open the plug at the bottom, remove the spring and squirt some silicone oil into the bottom of the mag. Just a short squirt - you want the oil in the lower half of the mag, where the spring goes, not in the upper half with the BBs. Load and empty the mag a few times to wear it in before skirmishing it. (Thanks to vtec for the tip.)

That company (and its aliases) is a well known scam and there's a very long and enduring thread about it on arnies airsoft if you're interested. Avoid like the plague.

As for TM mid-caps, I got a bunch of them a while back in Dublin. Phone the shops and ask and you'll find out pretty lively as to who has them in stock.

Yeah, so I see :( Pity I didn't know that before I ordered. Oh well. Reckon there's any chance of getting my money back, or should I just write it off?

I've been trying to source mid caps for a while as well. Just found they have some in stock at Fire Support. 28 sterling for a pack of 5.

Yep, got those from FireSupport before. Note that they're the King Arms ones, they're liable to split when fully loaded.

Before skirmishing, take off the plug at the bottom and squirt a little silicone oil into the spring path. Then load and unload them a couple of times to get them worn in.

With careful handling they work OK, but there's a reason they're a quarter of the price of the TM ones. You get what you pay for.

TM 80rd lo-cap AUG mags €22.50 at Begadi. Perfect for Berget.

    Thanks Lemming.
