    Hi All,

Just a quick ask around. Does anyone know any Financial Services Companies (eg Banking/Financial, Insurance, Accounting) in Dublin looking for CVs to be sent in on spec at the present time in order to fill junior positions?

I have looked up “Speculative” on the major recruitment websites which produced only one result. If anyone knows anything by word of mouth, I’m all ears. (Feel free to PM).

Thanks in Advance for All Responses

I don't think any of the financial services companies are hiring - you could trawl through them and phone them all and then send your cv in on spec. the other good way to get in is to tell all your friends working in FS that you're available and will buy pints if they pass your CV on (they might also get a referral fee which many companies do).

    Best of luck

Quite a few are still hiring, it just seems like most are not because there are more candidates available so the jobs are gone fairly quick.

Best thing to do is ring the companies and find out who the HR Manager is, then send your CV and cover note to them.
Or what was said before in relation to getting your mates or people you know to forward it on is also a great idea.

    Good luck with it,
