ime looking at a nissan silvia for sale at a good price but

when it was imported it was vrt as an s13 1.8 which is 2 generations older and is cheaper to vrt but the car is an s15 2leter

what is involved in getting the paper work straight in the car

Hmmm... if you go sorting out the paperwork properly you could be liable for extra vrt as the omsp of the S15 would be more than the S13 1.8.So, basically its down on the book as a 1.8 S13? I guess you'd have to go to your local vrt office to rectify it? Why not leave it as is?

Watch the import costs as post cot emission the VRT rates for Japanese imports went through the roof. Do your research.

    A 1994 S14 was 1700 euro to clear pre CO2
    Its now 4762 euro

At the current prices Jap import silvias are madness.

Paperwork is easy paying the money is the hard bit.

You need the Japanese de-registration document (with an official translation)
    Money
A trip to the VRT office

To be honest English imports are still reasonable have a look at these.

Probably do better with s14a English motor. Unless you really want s15 shell.

    I know what id do.

Also heaps of cars for sale on Sxoc.co.uk
