    shares near the exact same climate as vaduz in liechtenstein, which is marginally drier summers but wetter throughout the rest of the year, dublin is a bit warmer in summer

    what is the reason for this?

    You can ski in Liechtenstein
    Vaduz is c500m asl (above sea level)

    I would have thought their winters would be much colder than ours?

    Ah, that explains why Ireland only drew 0-0 with them there all those years ago.:D

    I don't see a comparison between Vaduz and Dublin really.
    Vaduz be much dryer and sunnier than Dublin most of the year round and much colder than Dublin in Winter.

    Just looking around and it looks like Vaduz is a few degrees warmer in summer, a few degrees colder in winter and a lot wetter, especially in summer. So not a lot like Dublin, really.
