Hard Drive Upgrade question: SATA-150 / SATA-300

I'm looking to upgrade the drive in my XPS 1710. At the moment there's a 120 GB, 5400, SATA-150 one in it.

Some of the ones I've been looking at are SATA-300, like this one:

Should I be able to use a SATA-300 one in place of a SATA-150 one, or is that a big no-no?

Sata 300 will work in a sata 150 motherboard.
