Tipperary Town - Thurles, and back!

    I need to get from Tipperary Town to Thurles by bus, but i don't know times, and i don't really understand timetables in http://www.buseireann.ie for tipp - thurles route... Help me please! I need to get to thurles and back to Tipperary...

    1. Click on the journey planner button

    2. Type in your start point and destination

    3. Pick the date

    4. Brings you into another page and under the time box put in 8:00 and will bring up all the times for that day.

    The easiest way is to forget about the bus, as Bus Eireann do not link Thurles and Tipperary directly.

    There is a train at least every 2 hours from Limerick Junction (10 mins from Tipperary town) to Thurles that takes 20 minutes.

    Go to www.irishrail.ie

    Added to that there are trains from Tipperary Town at 0805, 1409 and 1809 that all connect with trains at Limerick Junction for Thurles.

    Return trains from Thurles at 0822, 1119 and 1519 connect at Limerick Junction with a train to Tipperary.
