I know that there's a couple of other earphone threads on here, but the information I need isn't in them. Basically my ipod earphones have fallen apart (wire showing near base, and one of the earpieces doesn't work) I want to get new earphones that aren't ipod brand ones, cos from what I hear I'm not the only one who found the earphones a bit poxy. What are reasonably good quality earphones but not too expensive? I don't know much about electronics and have no idea where to start looking

Have a set of Sennheiser headphones myself. I just don't like earphones personally though of course earphones do cut out external noise a lot more. So if you listen a lot of music while outdoors, I can understand their purpose.
