Anyone have any idea how long it would take for a foreign cheque to clear?

I seem to remember three weeks being mentioned before.

I bank with PTSB and it usually takes about a month for the odd sterling cheque I have to deposit

Its different with every bank. Most cases 6 weeks is the norm.

USD Chqs have no time limit on getting returned unpaid.
