    Hi

I was in the US in 1995 on a summer J1 and got a US SSN at that time.

I will now be moving back there to work, and will be getting a different visa. I need my old SSN for that application. Is there any easy way to get hold of it? I don't have any record of it from 1995.

    Thanks

Found this on the usit website.

You need to contact the local Social Security Office in the USA, where you are staying, with two forms of ID to get your SSN.

What type of visa are you returning with, have you a job lined up?
