just traded a nice anschutz semi auto with 4x32 scope - at dealers for approx €300

sorry i should have said im looking for a bolt action sporter for a bit of target shooting

Check out Paul O' HAlloran in Drangan, Co. Tipp. Good prices on the CZ452 Lux.

Cuilleoga in Clonmel have them listed at e550! but will do them for cash at 500!!!(guy should be wearing a ski mask behind the counter!!!)

Paul O'Halloran is doing them strait at 385/390euro which is fairly good.

A CZ452 with a Brookes Trigger kit will make a pretty sweet target punching tool, and a nice one to keep in the safe for such a small outlay.

I've had 3 of them, all of them were more than a match for much more expensive kit eg Sako FinnFires,Sako Quads, Anschutz 1710 etc. once the trigger job is done and you make some slight mods to the woodwork to allow the barrell to freefloat (all the woodwork leaves the factory touching the barrel as it leaves the forestock....easily sorted with a dowel and some sand paper.....just rmrmber to reseal the woodwork after.

Brookes kit is less than 15euro, dowel + sand paper approx 2 euro, and will take approx 2 hrs start to finish.

No not in Ireland AFAIK

Search e=bay for 'trigger kit' lads in Canada selling same brooks type kit for small money + free post. They get good reviews.

Well worth fitting as the kit closed up my 22lr groups big time
