Wii games bought in the states

    I bought some Wii games in the US which dont work here. I didnt realise that they were coded. Is there anything I can do to make them work ?

    I think there's an action replay disc you can get that will let you play out of region games.

    also you can modify the wii to play ntsc games, see wiibrew.org

    There's a disc called 'Freeloader' which allows you to play imports, but it only works on Wii with system v3.2 or lower, so any recent/future update will stop it from working.

    On the other hand if you have Twilight Princess and an SD card (not SDHC) you can put a channel called 'GeckoOS' on your wii that will allow you to load the games through it, I'm pretty sure you can still do this on the most up to date system (3.4), and it's fairly simple to do.

    Which games specifically? Different games have different compatibility with PAL Wiis.

    LOL I dont think I would modify my wii just to play Game Party or M & M racing.

    Nintendo updates are still killing freeloader I think which is a shame.

    Maybe sell them on ebay and buy them over here. Or buy something better?
