    Hi can anyone help........

It a new monitor .Easy to connect just 3 cables ........audio- vga - power supply.

However , the internal speakers will not work ..

What could I be doing wrong

The audio cable simply plugs into one of the pointed sockets on the back of desktop pc. ( i have tried all 3 ie pink , green , blue )

It should be in the green socket. Go into the control panel and then into sound and have a look there. You might have to change the configuration of the speakers to monitor internal speakers

Why are you using two sets of speakers? Surely if you have decent quality external speakers this should be enough.

If it's a case that you only occasionally use the externals, you can always plug the cable for the externals into the headphone socket on the monitor.

Yea I know , Its stupid and one set shud be enough.Just can I explain .........you see I noticed that audio can come from 3 different sources as follows :
    1. Desktop processor box
    2. external speakers
    3. monitor internal speakers
But.....only ONE set will work at a time ( depending whats plugged in )

And I was wondering if its possible to have all 3 belting out the music together

Why on earth do you need to use a combination of three sets of speakers?, just pick the best and use that. You could split the signal, but the sound quality will decrease so it's not really worth it.
