Where is the best place to buy an iMac, Elara seems to be the best any other sites /shops I should know about.

Also making the leap from PC to Mac... Now I know I can get office but will me old files open on the MAC, and can I bring files from the iMac back into my workplace....

    Thanks guys.

apple.com/store and select Ireland from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.

As for Office, yes your old files will open if you have MS Office or Open Office (free!) etc installed, and you will be able to bring files into work provided you save them in a compatible Word format.

That, or go up to the Apple Retail Store in Belfast and avail of the exchange rate. Are you a student? If so, you'll get a discount on apple.com. Do you work somewhere with a groupscheme? Discounts ahoy there too.
