    Hi there,
Has anyone ever rented an apartment in Barcelona for a few nights? And if you did could you reccommend a website to do it? Thinking of going after easter in April for about 4 nights and need two bedrooms(we have one child) which works out very dear in a hotel so thought maybe an apartment would be better.Open to going to other cities too.
    thanks.

Hi, I'm going to Barcelona in two weeks, staying in a hotel that i booked through alpharooms.com, i've used this website before, and got 3 nites in Barcelona City, in a 3* hotel for €90 pp. as far as i know, thay also have apartments available, but their prices are way cheaper than anywhere else, when booking hotels anyway! hope this helps!:) (try the Aparthotel Napols?) this website is good also, as it gives honest reviews from people who've stayed in these places!

    Havana,

Great tip for the apartment, thanks!!

Our daughter is attending a swim training camp next June in Calella (North of City) and we succeeded in booking an apartment nearby.

You're more than welcome. They seem to have a good standard of accommodation on the site

try the Ibis in Heron city(could be on Diagonal), quite reasonable. just 10 mins on the metro from "downtown". I worked there when they were building the place, its not a pretty area, but grand for families and walking around.

Try http://www.hostelworld.com/ aswell. As a general piece of advice on Barcelona, try and avoid anywhere situated at or really close to Las Ramblas, particularly El Raval.

A couple of years ago I booked my mother and a couple of her friends in HERE for 4 nights - it was excellent, very clean, central etc. I'd highly recommend it.
