NUIG Indoor FITA and National Barebow Champs

    Hi all,

    An indoor FITA and the national barebow championships will be held in NUIG on the 25th of January - the day after the IV. Anyone who wants to stay in Galway yer welcome to shoot! Just mail me (macdaragATgmail.com) or post here if ye want in. All categories and levels welcome.

    It will be a standard tournament competition, so 60 arrows in the morning followed by head2head knockouts. However, those archers eliminated in the first round of knockouts will (if they want) be able to continue in a "plate" competition. This will be non-seeded (all archers randomised and paired up) and will ensure that all archers will compete in at least 2 head2heads.

    For those shooting barebow, if ye enter before the 18th I can also forward your score to the World Championships for 2008/2009, and you will get a world ranking for the year.

    Oops, sorry, said the shoot was on the 26th, but its actually the 25th - the Sunday.
