Been put on a 3 day week, How to claim dole?

Hi,

My Girlfriend has been put from a 5 day week to a 3 day week. Someone said to me that she can claim some money from the dole for the days she is not working,

Is this right?

She can claim for being on a 3 day week.(social welfare call it casual work.)
Best thing is to just go in to social welfare ,
She will need her pps no. , I.d. and proof of address. explain the situation to them.
she should get a few forms, one is a sheet divided into the days of the week for a month, that shows the working pattern, then 2 forms that ask why you've been put on short time (1 for the claimant to fill out and 1 for the employer)
She will also be given x/o sheets,(about 4) these have to be filled out weekly by the employer with days worked/not worked and signed by the employee and left into the local office.

I'm currently claiming as I'm on a 3 day week every second week, so for that week i get half of the weekly entitlement.

Oh she just told me she's working 4 days now and not 3..

I think that effects the whole thing.. am I right?... if you work 4 days you are not entitled to anything?

yeah
she'd get 103 or something for three on three off (dole counts a six day week)

so she's peobably better off on three days a week
