HELP! Not handed assignments

So, i've not handed pretty much any of my essays due before and after christmas. I have no good reason for not doing them. I am lazy. I am absolutely petrified. I don't know what to do. Help.

You are f*cked, royally f*cked, you will probably be thrown out of UCC, this place doesn't need students like you and can no longer afford the likes of you, if the Dean happens to be in a particularly bad mood on the day you meet him/her then their is a chance you can be banned from ever enrolling in an Irish University or College for at least 10 years, the best case scenario is that you will have to run around UCC with two hot dog buns on each end of your todger asking people would they like a bite of your hot dog, lectures have been known to give lazy students humiliating tasks like this in the past

Example:

Assume your essay is due at 5pm on the 1st of January. If you hand it up any time after then (ie: 5:01pm 01/01/2009 onwards) then you automatically lose 10%. From 5pm on the 8th of January forward you lose another 10%. From the 15th of January onwards essays will not be accepted.

This is standard procedure in most colleges and it depends on the lecturer and/or the department as to whether they enforce these kind of rules.

Talk to your lecturer, tell him the truth or lie, either way if you spend your time asking people on a ****ing website then you have already resigned yourself to failing. You idiot, you didn't do the work and your way of dealing with it is by talking to people online?!

Right. This isn't a joke is it? Not some craic with one of the lads is it?

No? Well then, you're screwed. Seriously. Without handing up the assignments you haven't helped your chances of getting past this year. You've probably have already failed your module or it could be impossible to pass the year without the marks of the assignments.

I've absolutely no idea if you can get help, you've left yourself to failure and you know it. You're so far down in a hole that you can't get out of it. I've no clue if anyone at UCC is going to help you now with the situation you're in.

You've asked for help. I haven't given it but do me a favour and think about this, some hard working person probably worked their behind off in order to try get to college but you got in before them. You therefore haven't done what you signed yourself up for and are petrified of what's going to happen to you. You've wasted the hard working persons college chances in UCC cos of you not doing a thing.

I hope you think of that.

That's all fairly harsh stuff guys imo.

OP, just work like there's no tomorrow and if you have the repeat the year then do - just learn from this year and make up for it should the need arise.

It's not like there's tones of jobs going anymore so get the head down and get at it. Even if you don't pass the year after working hard from here on in, atl least you'll know what sort of work is needed and will be better prepared next time.

Can assignments not be repeated in the summer? I didn't hand in an essay which was worth a full module but I presumed I would just have to repeat it by August?

I've just finished a psychology essay which was a week late. But i've got a doctor's cert, try get one of those, and you should be fine.
