    Hi

posting this query on behalf of the OH.

He is an unemployed Carpenter and he heard that he can claim back as far as 2002 for unused tax credits.

Is this true? And how can it be done? Is this or is it not the same as P21 balancing statements?

    Thanks
    peanut

you can only go back 4 years.

2004 closed on the 31 December.

Unused credits can be claimed against PAYE.

Go to www.revenue.ie and register with reachservices.

Check out if he is eligible for Rent credits etc.
