Ok I live way on the plains of North County Dublin.I love it out here with all its flat(ish) roads.Only problem is as I am siht at climbing I dont really get enough time on any hills of decent lenght.
So what I had planned to do was drive over to my Mam and Dad's (Navan Road Cabra end) cycle thru town as a warm up over to Yellow House swing right there and head upwards.....
Now as its been a long long time since I spent time in Wicklow so I have a route question.
If, when I turn right at the yellow house, and i keep going straight up Edmonstown Road I will eventually arrive a Johnny Foxes, right..?
If I turn to The devils elbow from Foxes I can still get back to Stocking Lane and back down to Yellow House via Boden Rd.
I was going from some very old memories and went to Map my ride to give it a jog but I reckon I should put it to you guys as well for your input

Yes, except watch out for the fork at the junction with Cruagh Road, just after the small bridge. It's almost a left hand hair pin to continue on Edmondstown Road, whereas Cruagh Road appears like a continuation of Edmondstown Road.

Yes, take a right at the end of that road, to head up to Glencree. Then take a right again at Glencree and that will bring you to Kilakee carpark. Right there and you are back onto Cruagh Road, where you will meed Edmonstown Road again at the bridge.

Yep, coming from the Yellow House there's a right after around 6km or so (Cruagh Rd.) that brings you on to Stocking Lane, but if you stay straight on Edmondstown Rd. that'll bring you onto Pineforest Rd. and then to Glencullen/Johnny Foxes. IIRC, after Devils Elbow, stay right (left bringing you down to Enniskerry) and you climb back up to Stocking Lane @ Glencree

    (what el tonto says)
