I would like to get into match ploughing. Is there anybody out there that can give me some advice that already does so. Have already e-mailed the NPA.Is it worth spending up to 13000 on a plough

I don't think you need a particularly fancy plough to be a good ploughman. You just need to practise and to have the skill for it. I don't plough competitively, by the way, so I may be way off the mark.

from what I know about it, which is very little by the way.

you really should progress up through the rankings. starting out with an expensive plough is gonna do you no good if you dont know how to work it.

if it were me I'd start in the classic classes and then work on up from there
