Hairline Crack

Hey all. I've just noticed a hairline crack like the image posted below but instead of where it is in the photo is where the esc key is.

The crack starts at the very top left of the key and runs nearly all the way to the outer shiney white casing.

Is this a common problem and what can I do? I have it a year but I bought 3 months apple care aswell so I'm covered.

Yep, it's covered by Applecare and it's a very common problem (has happened mine twice ). If you go to the support page on apple.com/ie you can type in your warranty details and address and they'll give you the details of your nearest repair centres.

Cool. Thanks. What do they do? Just take the cover off and replace it? Take long?

I think they they just remove the faceplate and replace it. Mine took 4 days both times and I was also getting other repairs done at the same time, so not too long really, but it can depend on who's repairing it at the end of the day...
