    Hi

Can anyone recommend this course or any comments or feedback? I am looking to get a formal structure or theory for writing a novel (fictional/crime). Would this be more of a social course? Any other recognised courses institutions offering writing courses?

    thnx

The Irish Writers' Centre is offering a course in crime writing starting soon. http://www.writerscentre.ie/centre/development/courses/index.htm Might be worth looking at if that's your particular area of interest.

    Check out their website: http://www.inkwellwriters.ie/

Here's an except from their Feb Newsletter:
For those of you who missed the Jan newsletter, there is one workshop not listed on the website - the Inkwell CSI workshop (21st March) which is run in conjunction with Bray Gardai. The Scenes of Crimes guys will this year be recreating a crime scene and walking you through the investigation step by step. A must for crime writers and anyone writing intrigue, dark romance or a thriller. Sandra Mara, Ireland's first female PI and author of 'No Job for a Woman' will also be joining us. As with all workshops it is €175 for the full day including a rather nice lunch, lots of tea and coffee and the essential chocolate biscuit or three! If you've any questions or queries, do get in touch!
