Multiple DAWs - midi clock?

Hi , I wonder if anyone could help me out on this one.

I decided to rebuild the Dual core I had lying around and install a spare Emu1616 card in it to create a 2nd workstation. The idea behind this is if I have anyone over to do colab work, there's a 2nd workstation where they could just sit & jam away themselves in Ableton or Reason & if something worthy comes out I want to be able to play it through the main system in time with the rest of the arrangement sitting on the main workstation using Cubase 4..

I was thinking of routing the main outs from the Emu card into the MOTU828II for this purpose. The 2nd workstation has it's own headphones so only when ya man says.. "try this" do I need to worry about mixing in the from the 2nd work station..

The main thing though is there any way to link the 2 up so the midi clocks match.
I've used rewire from Reason before but only on the same PC as that which Cubase was running. I'm unsure if it's networkable.. At the moment networking is disabled on both PCs .. I know nothing about how midi clocks match up or even whether this is possible..

    Regards

    Rob
