    Hi,

Just need some quick money saving tips when booking with ryanair.

    Its for 2 adults & 1 child ( 2 years old )

1st should I pay the E8 each priority boarding or will they ask for families with children first anyway?.

2nd Do you have to pay the insurance or can you give it a miss?.

Do they charge for a small single buggy??

    Thanks for now

1st: They don't call families first, so if you want to ensure you're together, pay for priority boarding. It might seem like a waste if the flight is nowhere near full (see this often on the routes I travel), but if the flight is fully booked, you'll be glad you did.

2nd: That's up to you. I would never travel without travel insurance, but I would never take theirs! If you haven't already got travel insurance, you should consider it and shop around to see what suits you best.

They don't charge for the buggy, but afaik, if you're travelling with an infant you MUST check in at the desk.

If you have a small family. book seperately and pay for priority booking for one person, who can then hold seats for the rest.

Children are not allowed to travel on their own, so at least two of you are guaranteed to sit together. if it is a short flight then i would forego the early booking and hope that all three of you strike it lucky.

A 2 year old requires their own seat, so you will have to pay the full charge, but they also get the full baggage allowance if you want it. they are also entitled to carry on luggage don't forget, so you can carry three bags on between you. The buggy as far as i know is free as well.

to get the best price, check in online, carry only hand luggage and take your chances with regards the priority boarding.

Would not bother with the priority boarding - just make sure if it looks like the flight is going to be busy that one of you queues early.

I would not take their insurance but then again I have my own annual policy. If you dont have any then are not planning any more trips within the next year then I would take theirs. If you are planning more trips then I would purchase an annual policy (cheaper if you have VHI etc).

They will take a buggy/pram no worries and as your child is over 2 then you can all check in online and take only hand luggage = 30kgs (10kgs each).
